Chai plum crumble
Seasonal stone fruit + rich masala chai spices + crispy oats for the best-ever chai plum crumble. It's sweet, spicy, summery & best paired with a generous heap of ice cream.

RECIPE:
For the filling
8-10 ripe plums, sliced
3/4 cup DONA Masala Chai
2 tablespoons AP flour
2 tablespoons butter
For the topping
1 cup brown sugar
1 stick butter
1/4 cup slivered almonds
1 cup oats
3/4 cup flour
1 egg
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon vanilla
a pinch of salt
1 tablespoon pumpkin seeds
Cook all filling ingredients in a saucepan over low heat for 15 minutes, or until fruit has softened and liquid has reduced. Place in a baking dish.
Combine topping ingredients in a large bowl. Blend with hands until the mixture becomes crumbly. Spread in an even layer on top of fruit mixture.
Bake on 375 degrees for 25 minutes, or until golden and bubbling.
