Raspberry chai oats

Tart rasperries + sweet and spiced chai + your favorite oats topped with hazelnuts and hemp seeds = the perfect way to fuel your day

Dona Chai Overnight Oats 

Yields 1 bowl


1/2 cup oats 

1/2 c DONA masala chai 

1/2 cup milk of choice 

1 T maple syrup

 Chopped hazelnuts 

Hemp seeds 

Raspberry sauce (recipe below)


For the raspberry sauce: 

Combine 1 cup frozen raspberries with 2-3 T of maple syrup. Cook over medium heat until the raspberries have broken down. 

For the oats

Combine chai, milk and maple syrup in a small sauce pan. Bring to a simmer then pour in the oats. Reduce the heat to low & cook until the oats absorb the liquid (about 5 minutes). 

Pour into a dish and top with raspberry sauce, hazelnuts & hemp seeds. Finish with zero waste masala chai spice dust.
