Blueberry chai yogurt bowls

Creamy yogurt + a sweet & citrusy chai blueberry sauce topped with toasted pistachios, sliced bananas and hemp seeds.


masala chai concentrate 


A chai latte 


3/4 cup whole milk yogurt
1/4 cup chai blueberry sauce 
1 sliced banana
1 tablespoon chopped pistachios 
1 tablespoon hemp seeds  
Option: honey drizzle


To make: Assemble all ingredients in a shallow bowl. 

For the blueberry chai sauce

2 cups frozen blueberries
2 T sugar
1 teaspoon orange zest 
Heat blueberries and sugar in a saucepan over medium heat. Let cook down for 5-10 minutes or until blueberries begin to break down and become juicy. Add masala chai concentrate. Use the back of a wooden spoon to crush the blueberries. Let the sauce cook for another few minutes, then strain into a shallow and wide bowl. Place bowl in the freezer so that the sauce sets.
