Our Lemongrass Herbal tea comes from a Nicaraguan collective and is grown amongst  organic turmeric, bananas, and coffee. The harvest window is only three months of the year during the rainy season. DONA’s lemongrass is harvested during week 33, during the final days of harvest to ensure freshness.

Lemongrass comes from a collective of small farmers in Nicaragua. This collective helps farmers reach the marketplace by providing resources, financing and ensuring income through contract growing as they expand into growing more crops.
