Who are you? Where are you located?
We are Capisce Coffee! A woman-owned Coffee and Espresso Bar. Our Italian cafe is nestled in the heart of the Adirondacks, in the beautiful town of Lake Placid, NY
Time to brag! What is something special about your cafe?
At Capisce, we pay tribute to local artists. Showcasing the talent of the North Country while enjoying our signature latte flight or a matcha smoothie is what sets us apart. Come in and get some work done while Frank Sinatra softly croons over the speaker, settles in with a good book in our cozy nook, or meet up with friends and soak up with sun on our outdoor patio. Capisce (said Capeesh) is truly a place for everyone.
Why do you love Dona concentrate/tea? What is your favorite product?
While a cup of coffee definitely gets you up and going, we noticed that our community was craving a coffee alternative with a calmer caffeine release- this is why we choose DONA Matcha. Matcha provides antioxidant benefits which support healthy brain and body function. The health benefits of green tea inspired us to create balanced matcha blends for our menu. Our team takes pride in creating the perfect matcha concentrate every morning- whisking the powder to perfection and ensuring our drinks are as delicious as they are beneficial. Sourcing a quality, potent matcha with a good reputation was very important to us.

Upstate Matcha- we blend matcha protein with a touch of locally sourced maple syrup for the perfectly balanced drink.
Strawberries and Cream Matcha- our house made matcha concentrate is layered with muddled organic strawberries and creamy milk, served over ice for a refreshing treat for the summertime.
Matcha-Gato- silky matcha & cream layered over vanilla bean gelato, finished with a drizzle of dark amber maple syrup. An upstate favorite!!
Matcha Mango Smoothie- a delicious blend of earthy goodness including organic spinach, mango, and banana to create the perfect healthy superfood smoothie.
