Honey Honey Sazerac

For the syrup:

For the cocktail:


  • 1oz Honey Honey simple syrup
  • 2 oz rye whiskey
  • 1/4 oz absinthe
  • 2 dashes bitters
  • Lemon twist

Step one: Make the syrup

Put the sugar & Honey Honey Herbal Tea in a pot. Add 8oz of water. Bring to a simmer and stir to dissolve the honey. Turn of the heat and let sit for 5 minutes. Strain through a fine mesh sieve. Squeeze in the citrus. Stir.

Step two: Mix the cocktail

Combine the rye whiskey, bitters, absinthe & Honey Honey Simple Syrup. Pour into a rocks glass over ice. Garnish with a twist of lemon.
