Marrakesh Mojito

For the Marrakesh simple syrup

  • 100 g Marrakesh Black Tea
  • 32 oz water
  • 4 cups (800 grams) sugar
  • For the mojito
  • 3 oz Marrakesh simple syrup
  • 2 oz rum
  • squeeze of lime
  • club soda
  • sprig of mint 


To make the Marrakesh simple syrup, bring water + sugar to a boil. Stir to dissolve sugar. Turn the heat off and add the tea. Strain after 3-4 minutes. Let cool.

Combine the rum, squeeze of lime & 3 oz of the Marrakesh simple syrup in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake, then pour into a glass with ice. Top with club soda and garnish with a sprig of mint.
