Raw Turmeric Chai Truffles

Get in for some vegan and gluten free chai flavored truffles
Truffles made with Dona Masala Chai Concentrate, turmeric, nuts and garnished with coconut

Yields 12 truffles 


  • 1/2 cup raw cashews
  • 1/2 cup raw walnuts
  • 1/4 cup raw almonds
  • 1/2 cup dates
  • 1 tablespoon Dona Masala Chai Concentrate
  • 1/4 + 1/8 teaspoon ground turmeric
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds 
  •  pinch of salt
  • 1/2 cup shredded coconut
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground turmeric 


  1. In a food processor, process the nuts until crumbly and textured. Add the dates, Dona Masala Chai Concentrate,  ¼ + ⅛ t turmeric, chia seeds and salt. Process until the mixture evenly combined but still has texture (about 30 seconds to 1 minute).
  2. Mix the coconut with the ½ t turmeric in a large dish or bowl. Roll the mixture into balls approximately 1-inch in diameter (a rounded tablespoon).
  3. Roll each ball into the coconut turmeric blend to cover completely.  
  4. Place in the fridge to set for at least two hours before serving.
  5. Store in the fridge for up to 1 week or in the freezer for 2 months.
