Salted Caramel Syrup
Ingredients
1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
6 tbsp unsalted butter at room temperature
1 cup heavy cream, warmed
1/2 tsp salt
Directions
- In a heavy bottom pan, add granulated sugar and place over medium-high heat. Cook, stirring constantly until the sugar is fully melted and turns dark amber color.
- After the sugar has fully melted, take the pan off heat and add butter, stirring constantly until the butter has mixed and fully combined.
- Slowly whisk the warmed heavy cream.
- Return the pan to medium heat. Bring the mixture to a boil and cook for 1 minute.
- Remove from heat and stir in the salt.
Palampur Oolong tea brewing
1 tbsp Palampur Oolong tea
4 oz water at 200F
Brew for 2-3 minutes
Make a latte
Mix 4 oz brewed tea with 4 oz choice of milk. Add 1 oz salted caramel syrup. Steam or serve iced.
