Tea Brewing Guide

One of our most common questions stem from tea drinker's uncertainty on how they should prepare loose leaf. As with anything, taste is subjective, but we're here to lay out some ground work for you to experience tea in its prime. Blacks, greens, & herbal blends each have varying ingredients (some without tea at all) that require differing levels of heat and rest to optimize flavor.

Here are your go-to guidelines:

→ blacks should be brewed at 200°F and steeped for 2 - 3 minutes

→ greens at 175°F for 2 - 3 minutes

→ greens at 175°F for 2 - 3 minutes

→ herbals at 205°F for 4 - 5 minutes
