One of our most common questions stem from tea drinker's uncertainty on how they should prepare tea. As with anything, taste is subjective, but we're here to lay out some ground work for you to experience tea in its prime. Blacks, greens, & herbal blends each have varying ingredients (some without tea at all) that require differing levels of heat and rest to optimize flavor.
Here are your go-to guidelines:
→ herbal tea at 205°F water for 4-5 minutes
→ black tea/oolong at 200°F water and steeped for 3-4 minutes
→ green tea/white tea at 175°F water for 2-3 minutes
