For the shrub:
- 1 Cup Of Grated Red Apples (About 1 medium apple)
- 1 Cup Of Apple Cider Vinegar
- ½ Cup Of Brown Sugar
- ½ Cup Of White Sugar
- 4oz Dona Chai Concentrate
For the cocktail:
- 1oz Chai Apple Cider Shrub
- 2 oz bourbon
- Dash bitters
- Sparkling water
Step one: Make the shrub
Combine grated apples, apple cider vinegar, brown and white sugars, and chai concentrate in a jar. Stir, then cover and place in the fridge for 2 or 3 days. After a few days, strain the shrub.
Step two: Make the cocktail
Combine 2 oz bourbon with 1 oz Apple Chai Shrub & bitters in a glass over ice. Top with sparkling water & serve.
