Cardamom Rose Dutch Baby

Regular pancakes are out. A sweet, fluffy, and floral treat that comes together easily—made with Dona’s Cardamom Rose Concentrate. 

 

Cardamom Rose Dutch Baby

Ingredients

3 large eggs

1/4 cup granulated sugar

2-3 tablespoons powdered sugar

2 oz whole milk

4 oz Dona Cardamom Rose Concentrate

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 teaspoon kosher salt

3 tablespoons unsalted butter

1 cup berries

1 tablespoon granulated suagr

1 tablespoon Dona Cardamom Rose Dust

1/2 cup heavy cream

1/2 cup whole milk Greek yogurt

 

Recipe

Preheat the oven to 425F.

1. In a blender, combine eggs, sugar, milk, vanilla extract, salt and cardamom rose concentrate.

2. In an 8-10 inch ovenproof skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the batter after the butter has fully melted and foamy.

3. Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake until the pancake is puffy for about 15-20 minutes.

4. In the meanwhile, mix together berries and granulated sugar and set aside to macerate.

5. In another bowl, with a whisk or an electric hand mixer, whip the cream to soft peaks. Add the yogurt, powdered sugar and cardamom rose dust and continue whipping to stiff peaks. Refrigerate until the pancake is ready to serve.

6. When the pancake is ready, dust it with powdered sugar and top with the whipped cream and macerated berries. Slice and serve warm.
