Coconut Brown Sugar Matcha Latte

Coconut Brown Sugar Syrup

Ingredients

180 grams coconut flakes

1 1/2 cups water

1/2 cup granulated sugar

1/2 cup light brown sugar

Pinch of salt

1 tbsp vanilla extract


Directions

Dry roast coconut flakes until golden brown. Add water followed by both sugars and pinch of salt. Stir until the sugar dissolves. Bring it to a boil. Reduce the heat and simmer for about 10 minutes.

Remove from heat and allow it to cool slightly. Strain the syrup and add vanilla extract.


Make It A Latte

Scoop 1 teaspoon of First Flush Ceremonial Matcha

Slowly combine with 2.5oz of water at 175°F

Whisk to remove lumps and continue until bubbly & frothy

Pour over steamed or iced milk and add 2-3oz of syrup per latte
