Hojicha Simple Syrup Ingredients

4-5 Hojicha Sachets

1.5 cups water

1 cup of sugar 

Directions Steep 4-5 Hojicha tea bags in 1.5 cups of simmering water for 10 minutes.Remove the tea bags, add 1 of sugar, and stir on low until fully dissolved.Let cool, then transfer into a bottle or jar. This will last for up to a week in the fridge.

Glaze Ingredients

2 cups powdered sugar 

2tbsp heavy whipping cream

1-2 tbsp Hojicha Simple Syrup

DirectionsSift 2 cups of powdered sugar into a bowl. Add 2 tbsp of heavy whipping cream and combine until smooth with a whisk. Add 1-2 tbsp of Hojicha simple syrup. Combine with whisk. Add more whipping cream if mixture is too thick, add more powdered sugar if mixture is too runny.
