Dona First Flush Ceremonial Matcha x Transcendence Coffee
Ingredients
1oz Transcendence Coffee Madagascar Vanilla Bean Syrup
3.5g Dona First Flush Ceremonial Matcha
60ml (~1/4 cup) warm water
1/2 cup milk of your choice
2oz espresso or strong coffee
Crushed ice
Instructions
1. Start with an empty glass and pour the vanilla bean syrup in as your first layer.
2. Sift the matcha powder into the warm water and whisk until frothy. Pour into the bottom of the glass.
3. Fill the glass with crushed ice. (This is non-negotiable! Crushed ice is the secret to getting those gorgeous layers. Regular ice cubes won't cut it.)
4. Using the back of a spoon, slowly pour your milk over the ice as the next layer.
5. Brew 2oz of strong coffee or espresso however you like it.
6. Using the back of a spoon again, slowly pour the coffee as the final top layer.
7. Admire the layers, then stir and enjoy!
